I am a trainee relational psychotherapist, (During Covid-19 sessions will be held online). My approach is integrative relational and gestalt. I aim to be an ethical practitioner and adhere to the ethical guidelines from the Code of Ethics and Professional Practice of UKCP (www.ukcp.org.uk). I attend regular professional supervision of my work.
My career in psychology began in 2002 when I initiated the psychology degree with the Open University. My love affair with the field of psychology, counselling psychotherapy. During that period, I volunteered at Samaritans, Depaul, various roles to gain experience, such as a student researcher (Psychology and Counselling project) at Teesside University. I also worked with adults with learning difficulties and disabilities, e.g., brain Injury for many years. After completing BSc in Psychology and Counselling, I decided to peruse an MSc Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology. In 2019 I decided to return to finish my psychotherapy training and at Scarborough Counselling and Psychotherapy Training Institute (SCPTI).
